LA Movie is a sociological exercise shedding new old light on a tale of two cities.
Filmed over the course of a typical LA weekend, Detroiter Mike Dutkewych set out to document the cultural divide between these rival cities -- as seen through the eyes of a vegan, a loan officer, a grant writer, a longshoreman, an avocado heiress, an ex-reality TV star, the Detroit Pistons, the Los Angeles Clippers, and countless musicians.
LA Movie is heartwarming, thought-provoking, and mildly successful in answering at least one age-old question: Why did the feminist cross the road?
